As promised, I remembered to dedicate a post to my current skincare regime. From middle school until early college years, I've been suffering from the occasional mild acne. Nothing, I mean nothing, seemed to work. I've gone through so many cleansers from various brands. In middle school, I started out with Neutrogena and Clean&Clear, but then it started to diversify into Aveeno, Biore, Olay, and even Trader's Joes' brand. They all "worked" at first but the acne only grew worse over time.
As a person with combination skin, I finally did some intense research as of last year. I decided to spend the extra money to splurge on Shiseido, with my roommate raving on about how it made her skin look. I actually started with Shiseido's Pureness cleanser, but diverged to the Skincare line for a bit of change.
This cleanser only needs a dime-sized amount since it foams up really well. With that said, it definitely makes you feel like you had your money's worth. I use this both morning and night everyday and my skin feels squeaky clean after. At night, I use my sephora face brush with it for gentle exfoliation but for the mornings, I just use my hands.
This toner is my holy grail. I can't explain in words how much I adore it. Thanks to the addition of this toner, my skin has never been so much clearer! There are other variations of this but the rose scent won me over! Love, love, love it!!!
My first eye cream ever so I have nothing to compare it with. I can definitely see and feel the difference after several weeks of routinely putting it on every night. I skip this step in the mornings since I believe the moisture will seep in better when I'm sleeping. The one fine line that has been bugging me is slowly getting less noticeable so win-win? I'm pretty satisfied with this product since it doesn't cause milia either.
This moisturizer is another one of my holy grails. If only it had SPF 30, I'd love it even more than I do now. This bottle is almost down to its last drop!
This is my moisturizer for the night at the moment. It's my substitution until I can find a resonable and efficient one. There are other uses too such as for your hair, body, and etc. I used to use jojoba oil as a moisturizer before this but I wanted more of a cream base so I'm still on the hunt.
I've been using this exfoliator twice every week since high school. I'm planning to switch over to their green tea version once this tub is done though.
With all these products combined, I've never seen my skin in such a better condition. My dark spots, blemishes, and acne are gradually disappearing. If I do breakout, it's just two or three small pimples so I'm happy. :)
